Hard Case Menus

We use a variety of different materials to case in books and make up menu covers, from book cloth to buckram, actual cow hides and sheets of leather composite (blended up leather reformed into convenient sheet sizes, that smell like leather but without the awkward shape).

This pictures are an example of a hot-stamped synthetic material with a burnt-on design.  The heat in the block changes the colour of the material whilst debossing.  We then foil in separate areas to complete the effect.
